Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

This Green Frog Service Oval Compotier, made in 1773-74 by Josiah Wedgwood, showcases his decorative art mastery. Catherine II ordered this dish as part of a larger dinner and dessert service.
In 1773, Catherine II asked Josiah Wedgwood to create a large dinner and dessert service. He used creamware, which he perfected, to craft this oval compotier. Known as Queen’s ware, the service was for a palace built by Yuri Velten near Kekerekeksi, later named Chesme Palace. Each piece features painted scenes of Great Britain and bears a green frog crest, giving the service its name.
Wedgwood intended the service for fifty people. Initially, it included 952 pieces adorned with 1,244 views of England, Wales, and Scotland. Today, 770 pieces of twenty-eight shapes have survived.
This Green Frog Service Oval Compotier stands out for its artistic merits and historical value. Many depicted buildings and landscapes no longer exist or have changed. Additionally, the pieces show early industrial centres of England. Nearly one hundred views feature landmarks of London and the Thames. Some landscapes were drawn from nature, while prints served as the major source. Artists copied these prints with great precision, often interpreting them in their own pictorial manner.
Before shipping the service to Russia in 1774, Londoners could view it in an exhibition. It remained in Chesme Palace until 1830, then moved to the English Palace at Peterhof. Since 1910, the Hermitage Museum has displayed it. For more on the Green Frog Service, visit our collection page.
