A cabriolet is a light two-wheeled carriage with a seat for two riders. It is pulled by one horse. Cabriolet appeared in France, where initially, especially in Paris, served as a hired carriage (fiacre). A postal cabriolet is a specially adapted carriage for transporting various mail items.”
