Discover a unique piece of history with our vintage USSR Medal postcard featuring the Medal “For Excellent Service in the Protection of Public Order.” This postcard measures 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ (14 x 9 cm). Published by Planet Publishers House in Moscow in 1975, it’s a rare and valuable collectible. Ideal for enthusiasts of Soviet memorabilia or police history.
The back of the postcard reads: “Established by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 1 November 1950. This medal honors rank and file, officers, and police personnel. It also awards sergeants and officers of internal troops, internal and convoy guards. They receive it for their contributions to public order and efforts against criminal offenses. Additionally, voluntary people’s squad members and other citizens get the medal for bravery and active participation in protecting public order.
Wear the medal on the left side of the chest after the medal ‘For Distinction in the Protection of the State Border of the USSR.’ It’s crafted from silver-plated nesilbere.”
