The back of the postcard reads: “Established by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 8 July 1944. The Medal ‘Medal of Motherhood’ II Degree awards mothers of many children who have given birth to and raised five children. Wear it on the left side of the chest. When placed with other orders and medals, it goes next to or below them. Made of bronze.”
